  46. Q: Why is there Maltodextrin in the Miracle Whey?
A: The maltodextrin that is used in our Miracle Whey is called “fibersol” and is a digestion resistant maltodextrin that is made from corn. However, because of the enzymatic hydrolysis of the corn, the end product has starch linkages that remain undigested by enzymes of the human digestive tract. There are studies of Fibersol that have shown that this particular digestion resistant maltodextrin may help to maintain intestinal regularity and help retain optimal serum triglyceride levels; additionally, fibersol may not cause a spike in blood glucose levels after consuming, as typical maltodextrin does. Fibersol is used in products to not impart taste and add dietary fiber. Lastly, fibersol is a NonGMO, gluten free, soluble dietary fiber. On the flipside, typical maltodextrin that is seen in many prepared products is a polysaccharide (long chain starch sugar) and is easily digestible and absorbed by the human digestive tract. Maltodextrin is mostly used for sweetness or as a bulking agent.

Dr. Mercola’s opinion is that maltodextin is fine, and is the same as glucose and the SAFEST sugar to use. Maltodextrose is a very safe sugar that is not metabolized like sucrose or fructose; it is simply unfair to class all carbs in the same category. He also states that the maltodextrin we use is very costly and made without any MSG. It is also a prebiotic and fiber source so even though it is listed as carbs on the label it does not cause weight gain or raise insulin levels like a typical sugar would.
  47. Q: Where are the Medium Chain Triglycerides derived from?
A: The Medium Chain Triglycerides are derived from coconut.
  48. Q: Does the Miracle Whey contain any eggs?
A: There are no traces of egg in the Miracle Whey.
  49. Q: Where do our bananas come from for the miracle whey banana?
A: The bananas come mostly from Costa Rica. As with all of our ingredients in our products, they have been tested to ensure there are no toxins and are safe to consume.
  50. Q: What amino acids are in the Miracle Whey and how much of each?
