    A: Yes, Pro-Optimal Whey contains a small amount of casein (1-2%) as removing it completely would risk potentially damaging and denaturing the fragile and important immune modulating proteins.

    A: Yes.

    A: It is safe. However, pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult a physician prior to use.

    A: Pro-Optimal Whey is whey concentrate.

    A: Pro-Optimal Whey is low in lactose. Generally, it can be tolerated by the average lactose sensitive person. However, people who are allergic or sensitive should consult with their health practitioner before using Pro-Optimal Whey.

    A: All flavors are derived from natural sources. There are no synthetic components, allergens or MSG.
  19. Q: What is Pro-Optimal Whey sweetened with?
    A: Stevia Leaf Extract.
  20. Q: Does Pro-Optimal Whey contain naturally-occurring cysteine?
    A: Yes, Pro-Optimal Whey contains 2.4grams of Cysteine out of 100 grams.
  21. Q: Does Pro-Optimal Whey go through a pasteurization process? What temperature is it processed at?
    A: The fresh milk is heated once. It is pasteurized at 63 degrees C for a short period of time. It is a low temperature method. However, there is no heating to the liquid whey or whey protein powder.
  22. Q: How do I make it?
    A: You can mix it with water or milk until it reaches your desired consistency. Each serving is one scoop of Pro-Optimal Whey. For a milk shake consistency, use 6 oz milk or water with 8 oz ice and blend.

    A:Yes, Pro-Optimal Whey dissolves in water.
  24. Q: Is the Pro-Optimal Whey free of E. coli?
    A: Yes, Pro-Optimal Whey is tested to ensure it is free of E. coli.
  25. Q: Is there Glutamic Acid in the Pro-Optimal Whey?
    A: There is glutamic acid in Pro-Optimal Whey. However, there is no connection between glutamic acid and MSG.
  26. Q: Does Pro-Optimal Whey have rennet residue?
    A: The whey protein in Pro-Optimal Whey is a non-denatured whey protein, that is acquired directly from milking cows and is not in any way associated with rennet or the cheese industry.
  27. Q: Does it contain folic acid?
    A: There is no folic acid in Pro-Optimal Whey.
  28. Q: Is this protein hard on the kidneys?
    A: It is only a challenge if you are consuming too much protein or if there is an improper breakdown due to low stomach acid.
  29. Q: How much arginine is in Pro-Optimal Whey?
    A: There is approximately 350-400 mg of arginine per scoop.
  30. Q: What is the phosphatidylcholine in Pro-Optimal Whey for?
    A: It is a great emulsifier that makes the powder mix and taste better.
  31. Q: Does it contain sulfur?
    A: Pro-Optimal Whey contains the naturally-occurring, sulfur-containing amino acids cysteine and methionine.

    A: No, it does not contain any beta-glucans.

    There is no MSG associated with the glutamate/glutamic acid. Glutamate is glutamic acid which is part of every protein in your body and is a normal food.

     Banana Berry Protein Shake:

    Add to a blender:
    1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
    6-8 oz organic or raw milk
    Half of a medium banana
    ¼ Cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
    1 heaping Tablespoon of Organic India Fiber Harmony Whole Husk Psyllium
    1 raw egg – organic   *optional

    Blend until smooth

     Strawberry Banana Protein Shake:

    Add to a blender:
    1 scoop Strawberry Whey Protein
    6-8 oz organic or raw milk
    Half of a medium banana
    ¼ Cup of fresh or frozen strawberries (any berries will be delicious)
    1 heaping Tablespoon of Organic India Fiber Harmony Whole Husk Psyllium
    1 raw egg – organic   *optional

    Blend until smooth. 

     Peach Melba Protein Shake:

    Add to a blender:
    1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
    6-8 oz organic or raw milk
    ½ Cup fresh or frozen peaches
    ¼ Cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
    1 heaping Tablespoon of Organic India Fiber Harmony Whole Husk Psyllium
    1 raw egg – organic    *optional
